DIY :: Top Lace Layer Skirt

This spring/summer you are going to see a lot of lace skirts, which means they are going to be a fortune at the store. Using a lace tank top I found at Garage Clothing on their clearance rack I made one. It's a simple DIY. Keep reading after the break to see how.

 I first had to make a simple skirt, using some left over material I have. If you have a skirt that you can use, even better.

 Measure the length and fit using a similar skirt thats made out of the same fabric.

 Cut and sew the edges.

 This is the lace tank I used. 

 Cut off the top

 Place the lace top over your skirt and fold a bit of the lace into the skirt and sew.

Hem if needed. I hemmed the red skirt a bit so the lace would hang lower.
